Keaukaha School Foundation

Ho‘okāhi ka ‘ilau like ana.

Working in unity, as we honor those that paved the path before us.

Our Purpose

The Keaukaha School Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established to support and increase access to learning opportunities for the haumāna of Keaukaha Elementary School (in Hilo, Hawai‘i) to flourish, both in and out of the classroom. The Foundation has been operational for 23 years – seeking and providing grant and donor funding to support learning enrichment for our Keaukaha haumāna.

Our Credentials

Registered organization with Candid, the largest non-profit registry, which promotes organizational transparency.  The Foundation is fortunate to have achieved Platinum recognition.

Registered organization with GreatNonprofits, the largest review platform for potential donors.  The Foundation is fortunate to have achieved Top-Rated recognition.

Our Message

The Foundation is both humbled and honored to serve its school community by resourcing funding opportunities to provide the haumāna (students) of Keaukaha Elementary School with an array of learning experiences.  With just under 400 haumāna of limited financial means, coupled with a challenged school budget for outside learning activities, haumāna are unable to frequent field learning experiences like those of other schools that are well-resourced.  The Foundation seeks your support in providing critical learning opportunities for the haumāna of Keaukaha Elementary School.

Mahalo (Thank you) for visiting our site, and we look forward to your partnership and support!
